Rob Corfield is a Chichester based  artist working mainly in acrylics on hardboard. His painting large, bold and colourful. Inspired by the sea and countryside of West Sussex and Shropshire. The subjects often reflect his love of  sailing, cycling and being outdoors. Rob paints for fun and feels the process of making art is equally important as the finished painting.

 

He regularly  exhibits  locally at the Oxmarket Gallery and the Artisan gallery. Recently Rob had his first solo exhibition in The Town Hall, Bishops Castle. In September 2024 he exhibited with the Hampshire Artists Cooperative in the Pie Factory Margate.
